Dr. S. K. Agarwal conferred with Vivekananda Peace Award

Kolkata : Reported by Sanatan Mahakud. Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Director of International Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, was conferred with the prestigious Vivekananda Peace Award by Literary, Cultural and Social Forum in recognition of his enduring contributions toward peace, social harmony, and value-based education. The award was presented on January 12, 2026, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, observed nationwide as National Youth Day.

Dr. Agarwal received the honor in a solemn and dignified ceremony attended by eminent personalities from the academic, cultural, and social spheres. The award was handed over by Nagathahalli Ramesh, social influencer from Karnataka, who was present as the Chief Guest.

Widely respected for his visionary leadership and tireless efforts in promoting human values and world peace, Dr. Agarwal expressed gratitude on receiving the award and reaffirmed his commitment to working toward a more peaceful, inclusive, and compassionate society, inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
