Kolkata:(9/5): A new spiritual and philosophical book titled Navaratna from Bhagavad Gita, written by Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal and published by Pragyan Foundation, was formally released on 8th May, 2026.
The book was officially unveiled by Mr. Om Prakash Mishra, President of Sanatan Mahasangha. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the efforts of Dr. Agarwal in presenting the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita in a concise and practical form for modern readers.
Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, who serves as the Director of World Sanatan Culture Foundation and President of Pragyan Foundation, has formulated the “Navaratna” — nine selected verses from the Bhagavad Gita that encapsulate its essential teachings and spiritual guidance for daily living. The book aims to make the profound message of the Gita simple, accessible, and applicable to people from all walks of life.
Mr. Chandan Agarwal, CEO of Pragyan Foundation, spoke about the importance of the Bhagavad Gita in everyday life and highlighted the relevance of Navaratna from Bhagavad Gita in today’s fast-paced and stressful world. He stated that the book serves as a practical guide for inner peace, self-discipline, moral values, and spiritual awakening.
