Kolkata(25/7): The Heritage School has once again showcased its commitment to excellence by delivering an outstanding performance at the CISCE Zonal Yogasana Competition (Zone H) held on 17 July 2026. Displaying exceptional discipline, flexibility, strength and artistic excellence, the school’s young yoga practitioners secured gold medals in all four Yogasana events across the Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories.
A total of 77 students from 10 schools participated in the prestigious competition, making The Heritage School’s clean sweep a remarkable achievement.
In the Traditional Individual Event, Saanvi Parasramka (Class 6) claimed gold in the Under-14 category, Aditri De (Class 9) emerged victorious in the Under-17 category, while Anwita Mukherjee (Class 8) won the Under-19 title.
In the Artistic Single Event, Saanvi Parasramka added another gold medal in the Under-14 category, while Aditri De secured the top position in the Under-17 category.
The school also excelled in the Artistic Pair Event, where Vanshika Saraf and Parnika Agarwal (Class 8) won gold in the Under-14 category, Mysha Goel and Ganika Singhania (Class 9) topped the Under-17 category, Aanvi Murarka and Kritya Kheria (Class 9) secured gold in the Under-19 category, and Srihan Dey and Krishay Gupta (Class 6) emerged champions in the Under-14 Boys category.
In the Rhythmic Pair Event, gold medals were won by Nitya Gupta and Amyra Goel (Class 6) in the Under-14 category, Aditri De and Oishani Ghosh in the Under-17 category, Aanvi Murarka and Kritya Kheria in the Under-19 category, and Armaan Sharma Yadav and Adit Macchar (Class 8) in the Under-14 Boys category.
The remarkable achievements of these young athletes reflect The Heritage School’s unwavering emphasis on holistic education, physical well-being and the values of discipline and perseverance.
