Seven-Day Residential Training Programme for Indian Culture Teachers Inaugurated

New Delhi (3/9): The seven-day residential training programme for Indian Culture Teachers, organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), was inaugurated today. Prof. (Dr.) Kashinath Samagandi, Director of the Morarji Desai National Yoga Institute (MDNIY), participated in the inaugural programme.
The training programme is being conducted from September 2 to 8, 2026, with the objective of enhancing teachers’ understanding and effective dissemination of Indian culture, traditions and values.


The programme was attended by Ms. Archana Sharma, Programme Director, ICCR, and Mr. Naresh Chandra, Programme Officer, ICCR.
From the Morarji Desai National Yoga Institute, Dr. Vinay Kumar Bharati, Nodal Officer and Yoga Therapist, and Gaurav Vedwan, Yoga Trainer, were also present.
The programme brings together educators and experts to promote a deeper understanding of India’s rich cultural heritage and its values.
