The Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata,organized a Shradhanjali (Condolence) programme at the Heritage campus on 6th February 2026 to pay heartfelt tribute to Late Shri Santosh Ray, one of the founder employees of the Heritage Group of Institutions, who passed away on 23rd January, 2026.
The programme was attended by the Founder Trustees of the Heritage Group — Shri H. K. Chaudhary, (Chairman), Shri Sajjan Bhajanka, Shri Vikram Swarup, Shri Sajan Kumar Bansal, Shri Jaydeep Chitlangia, and Shri Vikas Agarwal. Shri P.K.Agarwal (CEO), Prof. B.B. Paira, Founder Director, Heritage Institute of Technology, Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology along with all the principals and directors of the other units of Heritage Group of Institutions, faculty members, staff, students, parents, alumni and other stakeholders of the Heritage family were also present. Nearly 800 members were present in the auditorium at the Shradhanjali programme.
Paying homage to the departed soul, the dignitaries fondly recalled the invaluable contributions of Late Shri Santosh Ray, his dedication, integrity, and unwavering commitment during the formative years of the institution. Speakers remembered him as a pillar of strength whose efforts played a significant role in shaping the values and culture of the Heritage Group.
The programme also witnessed the presence of important vendors, housekeeping staff, drivers as well and concluded with prayers and a collective resolve to uphold the ideals and legacy he leaves behind. Both his sons were also present.
“Mr. Santosh was a pillar of the entire Heritage Family. He silently worked in managing crises, day to day operations, projects, admissions, marketing & branding, academics and many other areas. Heritage had lost a precious diamond irreplaceable and the irreparable loss will never be forgotten. He will continue to live among the members of the Heritage family forever,” said Shri H.K. Chaudhary.
The Heritage family extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and joins them in mourning this irreparable loss.
