Dr. S. K. Agarwal conferred with Lord Mahavir Memorial World Peace International Award 2026

Kolkata( 2/4): On the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, Dr. S. K. Agarwal was conferred the prestigious Lord Mahavir Memorial World Peace International Award 2026 at Kolkata on Tuesday, 31st March, 2026. The award was jointly presented by the Lions Club of Kolkata Magnates, Hello Kolkata, and the Rotary Club of Kasba in recognition of Dr. Agarwal’s outstanding contributions to peace, spirituality, non-violence and social upliftment.

The event was graced by eminent personalities from across the country. Renowned filmmaker and social thinker Nagathihalli Ramesh from Karnataka attended as the Chief Guest and lauded Dr. Agarwal’s lifelong dedication to promoting harmony and inner well-being. The Special Guests included Dr. Partha Sarathi Chakraborty, CEO of the MCKV Group of Colleges, and noted architect Partha Pratim Bose, who both praised the awardee’s visionary work and commitment to societal transformation. In his acceptance speech, Dr. Agarwal expressed deep gratitude for the honour and reiterated his commitment to fostering universal peace, compassion, and holistic well-being in society. He emphasized the timeless teachings of Lord Mahavir, advocating non-violence, truth, and harmony as guiding principles for humanity.

Among the distinguished dignitaries present on the occasion were Prof. D. Srivastava, Basu Deo Agarwal, Chandan Agarwal, CEO of the Pragyan Foundation, along with Geeta Sinha, Sarita Jaiswal, Sangita Das, Anita Saha, Ratna Sen, and Suresh Gupta, among many others.
