ATM Meditation Introduced on World Health Day by Dr. S. K. Agarwal

Kolkata (7/4):The World Health Day was observed with devotion and thoughtful reflection at Pragyan Bhawan, Kolkata, as Pragyan Foundation in association with Rotary Club of Kasba, organised a special programme focusing on holistic well-being, meditation, and global harmony on Tuesday, 7th April, 2026.

The highlight of the event was the introduction of a simple yet impactful meditation technique—ATM Meditation (Any Time Meditation for All)—by Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, President of the Foundation. In his address, Dr. Agarwal emphasized the importance of integrating meditation into daily life, stating that ATM Meditation is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background, and can be practiced anytime to reduce stress and enhance inner peace. The programme began with a collective meditation session and prayer for world peace, reflecting the core message of World Health Day. Participants joined in with sincerity, creating a serene and uplifting atmosphere.

Distinguished guests including Dr. Sahidul Islam, Adv. Masud Karim, and Pandit Om Prakash Mishra addressed the gathering. They spoke on the significance of mental and spiritual health alongside physical wellness, highlighting the role of meditation, ethical living, and social harmony in today’s fast-paced world. Several eminent dignitaries and participants also shared their insights, including Dr. Namita Chakraborty, P. K. Pramanik, Geeta Sinha, Md. Badruddin, Sarita Jaiswal, Adv. Basu Deo Agarwal, Jyotsna Dutta, Dr. Farah, Subhas Kanti Roy, Anita Saha, Mahesh Barman, Ratna Sen, and Suresh Gupta, among others. The event concluded on a hopeful note, with participants appreciating the simplicity and effectiveness of ATM Meditation and expressing their commitment to incorporating it into their daily routines for better health and inner harmony.
