Online Preparatory Meeting for the International Translators’ Conference

Nayagada (9/6): An online preparatory meeting was held for the upcoming International Translators’ Conference, scheduled to take place in Guwahati, Assam, from 30 September to 3 October. This four-day literary gathering will bring together 40 translators from four countries and various states across India.

As part of the special programme, “A Day with Translators,” interactive literary discussions will also be organized in Shillong (Meghalaya) and Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh).

On this occasion, translated poetry books in Marathi, Hindi, Kumaoni, Assamese, English, Odia, and indigenous languages of Arunachal Pradesh will be formally released.

Today’s meeting witnessed the participation of translators from Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, and Odisha, who discussed various aspects of the conference and its successful organization.
