Kolkata (26/5):Pragyan Foundation successfully organized an enlightening meditation workshop titled “Meditation is Easy: Know How?” on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Pragyan Bhawan, Kolkata. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from people belonging to diverse walks of life who gathered to learn about meditation and holistic well-being. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Director of the International Institute of Lifestyle Medicine.

During his address, Dr. Agarwal elaborated on the importance of meditation in modern life and discussed various methods of meditation, their practical applications, and their physical, mental, and emotional benefits. He explained how regular meditation practice can help reduce stress, improve concentration, enhance emotional balance, and promote overall well-being.

Making the session interactive and experiential, he guided participants through a practical session of Anapanasati Meditation, allowing attendees to personally experience the calming and centering effects of meditation. The event was graced by distinguished guests from different fields of life, including Dr. Sahidul Islam, Adv. Basu Deo Agarwal, Dr. P. K. Pramanik, Sikha Mitra, Ketan Seth, Ashis Basak, Subhas Kanti Roy, Kunal Adhikary, and Jayanta Das, among many others.

The session concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing appreciation for the practical guidance and insights shared during the session.
