Kolkata(17/5): Anwita Mukherjee, a talented Class VIII student of The Heritage School, has brought pride to her school and the state of West Bengal by securing selection for the National Level Yoga Championship after an impressive performance at a prestigious yoga competition organized by WFFYSI West Bengal.
The state-level event was held recently in Nabadwip and witnessed participation from numerous young yoga enthusiasts representing different districts and institutions across West Bengal. Anwita’s graceful presentation, discipline, flexibility, and confidence impressed both the judges and audience, helping her earn a place among the selected participants for the upcoming national-level competition.
The National Yoga Championship is scheduled to be held in Uttarakhand in the last week of June 2026, where Anwita will represent West Bengal on a larger platform alongside participants from various states across the country.
Teachers and mentors from The Heritage School expressed immense happiness and pride over Anwita’s achievement. They praised her dedication, regular practice, and determination at such a young age. Her success is being seen as an inspiration for many students who are actively involved in sports and cultural activities alongside academics.
