THE WORLD SPARROW DAY
The 12th Chapter of SriMad Bhagwad Gita talks on “Sarva Bhuta Hite Ratah” i.e In the welfare of all human beings . Keeping this in mind the students of class vi and vii of the Heritage School made Sparrow Bird Nests and bird feed from recyclable materials to honour THE WORLD SPARROW DAY on March 20th. Sparrows play a vital role in biodiversity, contributing to ecosystem health as natural pest controllers, feeding on insects harmful to crops. the global decline in sparrow populations serves as a key environmental indicator, signaling broader issues like habitat loss, pollution, and climate change, making student involvement in sparrow conservation pivotal for fostering future environmental impact.
