Heritage Institute of Technology Hosts Landmark International Conference on Applied Algorithms, Bringing Together Global Academia and Industry Leadership

Heritage Institute of Technology successfully organized a 3-day International Conference on Applied Algorithms, which started from 7th January and concluded on 9th January at the Heritage campus. The conference created a platform that emerged as a powerful global arena for advanced research, innovation, and academia–industry collaboration. The conference witnessed an overwhelming response from the global research community, receiving over 90 high-quality research paper submissions from 9 countries, alongside a distinguished assembly of international speakers, researchers, and scholars.

The Inaugural Session was marked by the esteemed presence of Mr. Jayabrata Ghosh, Vice President & Global Head – Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), who graced the event as the Guest of Honour. In his address, Mr. Ghosh emphasized the transformative role of applied algorithms in shaping modern manufacturing, enterprise intelligence, and Industry 4.0, underscoring the critical need for synergy between academic research and real-world applications.

The conference was further elevated by Professor Santanu Chaudhury, Former Director, IIT Jodhpur, who attended as the Chief Guest. His inaugural address reflected deep academic insight, stressing the importance of rigorous research, interdisciplinary innovation, and global collaboration in advancing algorithmic science and engineering.

The inaugural session also witnessed the presence of Shri P.R.Agarwala, Chairman, Heritage Institute of Technology, who encouraged the entire team to organize it for the third time.

With a diverse range of technical sessions, keynote addresses, and research presentations, the conference served as a vibrant intellectual forum where cutting-edge ideas transcended geographical boundaries. Scholars and researchers deliberated on emerging trends in algorithms, data-driven systems, computational intelligence, and real-world problem solving, reinforcing the conference’s global relevance and scholarly depth.
